What they do
Available 24/7, 1800RESPECT is a counselling, information, and support service for anyone impacted by domestic and family violence.
When you contact 1800RESPECT, you will be connected with someone who:
- Listens and believes you
- Understands domestic, family, and sexual violence
- Knows how hard it can be to talk about it
- Recognises that everyone’s situation is different and that no one knows your situation better than you
- Can talk through options and help you decide what information, people, or services will be most helpful for you.
What you talk about and how much you say is up to you.
