13YARN (13 92 76) is a free and confidential national crisis support line for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are feeling overwhelmed or having difficulty coping.

What they do

13YARN is the first national crisis support line for First Nations people who are having difficulty coping. They offer confidential one-on-one support with a Lifeline-trained Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Crisis Supporter. You can call them on 13 92 76 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

13YARN is funded by the Australian Government with the support of Lifeline. It was developed in collaboration with Gayaa Dhuwi (Proud Spirit) Australia. They have co-designed the line using Lifeline expertise with several Aboriginal mental health professionals and peoples with lived experience.

They provide 24/7 confidential crisis support via phone.

When you call, you will be connected to another Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person. They will understand where you're coming from and listen without judgement or shame.

It's a culturally safe space where you can share your story. You can talk about your journey, needs, worries or concerns.
