What it is

The Wellbeing Course is a free, 8-week online treatment from MindSpot that helps you improve your mental health and overcome symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Consisting of 5 lessons, the course aims to help you break unhelpful habits and learn how to:

  • Recognise the cycle of symptoms involved with anxiety and depression
  • Identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs
  • Manage physical symptoms of anxiety and depression
  • Gain confidence by learning to confront things you've been avoiding
  • Stay well once the course has finished.

You have the option of receiving weekly therapist support during the course or contacting a MindSpot clinician if needed.


Who it's for

The Wellbeing Course is recommended for people who are:

  • 26 - 65 years of age (Must be 18+)
  • Australian residents
  • Experiencing symptoms of low mood, depression, stress, anxiety, panic attacks or excessive worry
  • Able to dedicate four hours a week to spend working on the course and practising the skills.

MindSpot recommends speaking with your GP or another health professional about participating in this course. They can help you decide whether this program is right for you.


How to access it

The Wellbeing Course can be accessed via the MindSpot website.

  • To enrol, you’ll need to complete their free online mental health assessment to ensure a MindSpot treatment course is right for you. You can also speak with a MindSpot therapist who can recommend a course that meets your needs or other services that can help based on your unique symptoms and circumstances.
  • To contact MindSpot, call 1800 614 434 between 8am and 8pm AEST Monday-Friday or between 8am and 6pm AEST on Saturdays. Note: MindSpot is not open on NSW public holidays.
  • Click here to access MindSpot’s free mental health assessment. (Keep in mind you’ll need about 20-30 minutes to complete it.)
The Wellbeing Course is not recommended for people who are currently suicidal.
