  • Bi-polar and borderline personality disorders
  • Anxiety

How they help

If you're eligible for SANE's guided service, you will need to complete an online referral form.

After you submit your online referral form, their support team will be in touch with you to discuss your situation and needs and explain how the service works.

You will then be allocated a Peer Navigator who will provide one-on-one practical, technical and emotional support during the service. With their personal experience of complex mental health issues, they can help you formulate a support plan and guide you through each stage.

You will also be allocated a professional counsellor who you will meet online or over the phone for regular counselling sessions.

As part of your treatment plan, you may have to attend online events, such as webinars and group events. Extra supports and activities may be added, according to your needs and situation.

The average period for the guided service is 12 weeks, but it could be longer or shorter, depending on your needs. It's important to note that the guided service is not designed to be permanent, full-time support.

For more detailed information about the service, read FAQS on Sane's website.
