What they do

QLife is a free and anonymous peer support and referral service run by LGBTIQ+ people for LGBTIQ+ people.

LGBTIQ+ people and their loved ones can contact QLife to talk about a range of topics like sexuality, gender, bodies, feelings, and relationships. You can also use the QDirectory to find local and national LGBTQI+ services or download QLife's QGuides to learn about a range of common and often complex topics.

While QLife does not provide specific advice or treatment for medical conditions, people who contact QLife may do so as a tool to support their management of depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, gender dysphoria, loneliness, and other mental health challenges.

QLife is not a crisis or counselling service.

QLife is a peer support service and cannot provide counselling or crisis support. However, QLife can provide referrals to LGBTIQ+-inclusive counselling services if needed.

For crisis support, you can contact Lifeline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via 13 11 14, text, and chat. If life is in danger, call 000.

Who they're for

QLife is for anyone who is LGBTIQ+ or diverse in their sexuality or gender.

QLife also offers support to those who support LGBTIQ+ people including professionals, family members, and friends.
