What is Healthy Mind?
Healthy Mind is a free online mental health and wellbeing tool from the Black Dog Institute designed to help you recognise and regulate your thoughts and emotions.
Consisting of structured learning topics and activities, you’ll learn strategies that can improve the way you feel and provide support when you need help.
Healthy Mind topics are self-paced and can be accessed in any order. Each lesson has the following structure:
- Learn about it
- Watch it
- Do it.
Who is Healthy Mind for?
Healthy Mind is for people who may face intellectual challenges and:
- Are looking for ways to improve their wellbeing
- May be experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, depression, stress, anger, and/or intrusive thoughts.
Carers and supporters can play a helpful and important role in ensuring the person using Healthy Mind can get the most out of it by assisting the person through each activity.
